JIB organizes a Career Advancement Forum and Career Fair for students to help you prepare for the workplace and be successful in your careers. During the Career Advancement Forum, human resource managers and industry professionals from Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary industries are invited to give a presentation on relevant topics to help students transition and succeed in a real working environment. Students learn straight from the experts!

The Career Fair is also a yearly event exclusively for JIB students where industry professionals are invited to give career talks and presentations and conduct on the spot interview and hiring! Students in their final year also become members of Hosco, the world’s leading network in hospitality. Hosco provides access to a community of over 260,000 members, more than 3,000 employers offering over 36,500 jobs, internships and work placement opportunities. JIB is the only school in the Philippines to have signed a membership with Hosco which means that JIB students are the first to get an access to this international job-hunting platform.

Upon graduation, students must complete an industry internship. In JIB, the Internship and Career Placement Office will work closely with you to discuss your career aspirations, give career advice and monitor work progress.

JIB offers industry internships in different locations around the world! The internship coordinator constantly coordinates with the school’s business and industry partners to keep track of job openings and guarantee that internships offer learning opportunities and enhance students’ career pathways.
